Give a warm welcome to our beautiful little girl Bella!Bella is a sweet-natured 9year old Patterdale girl who’s come into rescue due to a family bereavement, she’s been a truly loved dog and she deserves to find herself surrounded by family again .Bella loves a lap, a cuddle, and a tummy rub and would really love a quiet home where she can be the only dog and be with her humans most of the time.Bella is generally lovely out & about on walks, but isn’t overly keen on other dogs (she has a little bit of little dog syndrome!).Bella has lived with older children; she is not cat tested but does have a bit of a prey drive so wouldn’t be suitable for a home with other pets.Bella is having a spay, dental and starting her vaccinations so she’ll be in tiptop shape when she finds her perfect family. If you’d like to meet this lovely little girl please complete an application form.

Marmite, a 2 years old male Lakeland Terrier available for adoption from Foal Farm in Kent

Marmite

Kent

BreedLakeland Terrier

Marmite came to Foal Farm in May 2025 on his first birthday. He was in need of a rescue space after he had been found straying, he was very skinny and had a laceration on his neck which required immediate surgery. We had later found out that Marmite had been in a home since he was a pup and had been returned to the breeder a few weeks prior to him being found as a stray, it is unclear as to how and why he ended up in this position. His original home was not able to meet his needs and some behavioural issues came to surface. He was reactive to traffic and when feeling frustrated this led to him redirecting onto his owner. He was also very protective of his owner and he had shown aggression to their partner on various occassions. They felt they were unable to meet the needs of his breed and he needed more than they could offer, as he is a working dog and he needs a job.Lakeland Terriers are not for the faint hearted and Marmite is typical to his breed and their traits. The behavioural issues that Marmite presented in the home have also come to surface whilst being at Foal Farm. Due to the busy environment here, he has found it stressful and challenging which has caused him to feel very frustrated. It has taken a lot of time and paitence but we have now seen a huge improvement in Marmite’s behaviour. We are very proud of the progress he has made. We are now able to enjoy calm walks around cars and other distractions, he even took a trip to Costa where he was perfectly behaved. He can be reactive towards some dogs but overall he is good around them. As Marmite is a complex character he would be best suited as being the only dog in the home. However, if an experienced home with an existing dog was a possibility, we would not rule this out for him.As Marmite has previously bitten, he needs an adult only home. We are seeking adopters who have experience with the breed ideally. Whilst he is very friendly with people and is an affectionate lad, he requires boundaries and structure. Ongoing training will be required as well as a home that can give him enough exercise. He would benefit from an additional activity such as canicross or scent work. Marmite is very much a project dog and he has shown he has so much potential.

Phillip – Patterdale, a 3 years old male Lakeland Terrier available for adoption from Auras Dogs in Gloucestershire

Phillip – Patterdale

Gloucestershire
SexMale
Age3 years
BreedLakeland Terrier

Phillip is a fun-loving, affectionate Patterdale Terrier looking for his forever home. He appears to have had some basic training in the past and is eager to please, responding well to simple commands. Unlike some busy terriers, Phillip loves human company and will happily seek you out for cuddles and fuss ️ Phillip would thrive with an owner who understands the breed or has experience with active, driven terriers. While he’s past his bouncy puppy stage, he still has plenty of energy and enjoys both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Kennel life isn’t his favourite, and we’d love to see him settled back into a loving home where he can truly relax. Phillip has met a variety of dogs and generally does well, but he finds close confinement with other dogs challenging. For this reason, he would be happiest as the only dog in the home. When out and about, he can be alert around other dogs and will benefit from sensible introductions and continued guidance, but he is capable of settling well in the right hands. We advise muzzling Phillip on walks to ensure comfortability around other dogs, he is happy to wear this This sweet boy adores people and makes friends wherever he goes. He is looking for a terrier-savvy home that can offer plenty of adventures, enrichment, and, most importantly, lots of love. Could you be Phillip’s perfect match? WELCOME PIPPA (PIP) - VERY SMALL PATTERDALE CROSS JACK RUSSELL NEEDS A HOMEPippa is one adorable and very small dog. She came to us via a Yorkshire dog warden under very difficult circumstances. She is approximately eighteen months old and very comical. Sadly Pippa does not cope with kennels and we endeavour to find her a new start as soon as possible. Pippa is brilliant around calmer dogs and often goes on groups walks. She is super clean in kennels and will bark to be let out for a toilet break. She is extremely cute and loves to be cuddles and have all attention on her. We feel this little dog has definitely not had the best start to life. Our aim as always is to change this and find her a human love match. Pip would suit an active home that love regular walks, adventures and excursions. She is pocket sized, confident and very loving. Please read on to see what sort of home she would love.THE HOME BEAUTIFUL PIPPA NEEDSPip would love a home with loads of company. Being a lonely dog would not suit this little girl as she adore company, time and being with people. We feel a home with older children is best suited and not with small children. An early retired couple that love walking, the outdoors and spending time with a companion would suit Pip. She definitely needs an enclosed garden as she is teeny in very way. Pippa's quirky looks, wire hair and love of life combined are extremely endearing. We all love this large personality picked in a small body. Putting Pip in a kennel is not ideal and we have found she is not happy. She often has plenty to say for herself and just loves to be out and about. Pippa is what is known as a Patterjack and is house trained and very clean in her kennel. If you feel you can offer her a new start and the love and company she deserves then we welcome applications. Calls are also welcome to discuss ay of our dogs. We endeavour to find Pip a home as soon as possible. Please contact us at Good Life with information about yourself and the home you can offer any of our dogs. We help a huge amount of abandoned dogs left waiting at the Yorkshire stray kennels and in very difficult situations. Help and support is always appreciated. At the moment we have seen a huge increase in abandoned, seriously neglected and abused stray dogs. Help is needed and crucial adoption is essential. Good Life Dog Rescue exists with few people and remains passionate and dedicated to the homeless stray dogs in need in Yorkshire. We have recently relocated to Garforth, Leeds and now rent a full block of kennels. We are open seven days a week however appointments are needed to view all our dogs. We encourage adoption and invite anyone with misconceptions of rescue dogs to come and meet some very special hounds in our care. We are very active and fly a flag high for the rescue bull breeds from local stray kennels in Yorkshire. We work hard to rehabilitate and help dogs forget a difficult past life. Please support us and the work we do. We exist on a passion for the welfare of strays with very few people and volunteers. We remain dedicated to the welfare of stray dogs despite our struggles to keep going in the last few years. Passion for animals is what keeps our charity afloat along with some amazing support from rescue supporters.

Available: Razzy Razzy is looking for a new home. He is a 2 year old Sharpei/Patterdale cross. He needs a new home due to emergency medical grounds of the owner. He has been in foster since 2025 with his rehoming on hold until all relevant paper work, chip were updated. Now this has been done, Razzy can be rehomed. He is reactive with dogs and had been badly mistreated, he would need a patient owner. He gets on with another dog he has been in foster with. Razzy is chipped and neutered and registered with the vets. He eats a mix of dry food with added protein and veg. Razzy can be unsure meeting new people but settles quickly with calm, steady introductions. He sleeps in the living room at night and can be left on his own for short periods of time. Razzy has not had any interactions with cats. He can be reactive to other dogs when he is on his lead. This however has been improving while he has been in foster care. Razzy can't be let off the lead unless he is muzzled. For Razzy's wellbeing he would likley be best as the only animal in the home. He is good travelling in the car and can be reactive when the door is opened - however this has been improving since he has been in foster care. Razzy loves swimming, toys and anything involving problem solving. He is very obedient and highly intelligent, and hyper focused on balls rather than food. He's not food motivated in the typical way. He's great with people and attends care homes now and again with no issues.

Breed - PatterdaleGender - Male (neutered)Date of Birth - May 2016Can live with dogs? NoCan live with cats? NoCan live with children? YesLocation - West SussexTEDThis little dog is breaking all our hearts!!!!!Ted is just the sweetest little dog. He is 9 yrs and 7 months old and is the PERFECT house guest, friend and loyal companion. He is loving, fully house trained and affectionate ... the perfect companion and house guest.BUT... he is NOT good with other dogs!Although there has been a little improvement in the last months - not enough to ever suggest he is going to be fine to walk easily in their company! He can be barky and lunge at some and ignore others which makes walking him in busy and active 'dog populated' areas is challenging... He does not cope in kennels and he would so love a home (maybe a very rural one) where he is not compromised or confronted by lots of dogs but where he can just love his human/s and enjoy life.We only have until 12th December to find a home as his fosterers took him as an emergency for us on a time limit and now this is just 6 days away!He really is so gorgeous around everyone but like so many Patterdales - dogs and cats are a no!If you think you can offer this boy a safe and loving home please please do get in touch. This boy really could be the LOVELIEST companion for the right person/family - we know his needs are specific but we also know that these are the very dogs who will return all the time, love & patience you give them TENFOLD - so please do consider this boy if you can. He deserves to find his happy-ever-after too.

Willow, a 10 years old male Lakeland Terrier available for adoption from Pads Dog Rescue in Scotland

Pads Dog Rescue

Willow

Scotland
SexMale
Age10 years
BreedLakeland Terrier

Willow was rehomed last year and has to be returned due to her determination to escape the garden and chase livestock and wildlife around the home. Willow may be 10 years old but her legs are like springs and her eyes and ears are as sharp as a 1 year old!Willow is a dream in the house, welcomes all human visitors, loves a sunbathe and a cuddle, and getting under the duvet at night. Unfortunately, she is the polar opposite outside of the home with a high prey drive. Willow needs someone who has no garden or a very secure one, she has managed to climb over a 6ft fence here. Although she is ok with kids, the likelihood of kids leaving doors and gates open does mean that she might not be suited to some families / homes. Willow will chase cats and small furry creatures. She has lived with another male dog but would need careful introduction to any new friends.
