Meet our super smiley boy, Alfie!Alfie is a beautiful, happy boy that likes to give you lots of smiles and tail wags when he sees you! He has such a friendly nature and is always a giddy boy! Everybody who meets him says how wonderful and friendly he is! He does walk nicely for our volunteers and staff around our woodland area and loves going for his walks. He is always so excited to be shown attention and has a smile on his face the whole way round! He does like to jump up at you and give you lots of kisses! He also has the cutest feet that you will ever see too!He can be vocal towards other dogs on his walks, so would benefit from further socialisation and training. We do feel that he could potentially live with another dog of a similar temperament and energy level, subject to a successful dog meet.As Alfie can be quite lively so he would be best suited to a household with children aged 12 years and older – subject to a successful meet.Alfie did live with a foster family for a little while where they said he was the most perfect dog so we would love to share more information about this to potential adopters! He is just the loveliest, friendliest, happiest boy that you could ever meet and he has so much love to give to his new family! He has waited so patiently for his time to be chosen! What a little sweetheart he is! This handsome boy has a heart twice his size but an attitude ten times bigger! He likes to be very sassy in his kennel and will woof at every dog that dares to walk past! He is the kind of dog that loves a cuddle and will lean in to you for affection. He is happy to sit on your knee on a bench and watch the world go by. Despite his age, Alfie does enjoy a nice walk around the woods having a smell of everything along the way.We think Alfie would be best suited to being the only dog in the home. He a typical terrier that likes to tell every dog off so we think he would enjoy having all the attention to himself! We also think Alfie would prefer to live in an adult only home where he can relax and take lots of naps!This super cute boy is looking for his retirement home with his forever family. He is absolutely full of personality and sass and would love nothing more than a sofa to cuddle up on! She is a very affectionate girl that is always up for lots of fuss and cuddles. The staff have been teaching her a few tricks and she is a quick learner and is very eager to please. We are looking for an active home for Bambi and someone that is committed to putting in the work to train and socialise her. Bambi is quite strong on the lead so continued lead training is essential. Bambi would benefit from a private secure garden where she can safely have some off lead time. Breed experience would be an advantage.Bambi has socialised well with other dogs whilst in our care and is very playful as you would expect with such a young dog so we feel following a successful meet and greet she could possibly live with another playful dog of similar size (must be neutered).We are unsure how Bambi would react around cats.As Bambi came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on her so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years.

Billy loves to carry an emotional support toy around with him on his walks! He is such a big softie! He gets so excited when you go and see him in his kennel and will always bring you a present. You will always get such a big smile from Billy!Billy will need to be in an adult only home and be the only dog in the home. He will walk near to other dogs but he is not always a fan of them being in his space, so will also need a home that is willing to work with him on socialisation and can handle his size. He can be quite a strong boy on his walks so potential adopters will need to be confident with large, strong breeds.He was very nervous when he came in to our care but has really gained so much confidence and is such a friendly boy with all our staff members. As long as he has toys to play with and a bed to curl up in, he will be a happy boy! This happy girl is Birdie. She is a fun loving and giddy girl who is always up for lots fuss and attention. She can be quite vocal so probably not suited to living in a flat/apartment. Birdie is very energetic and loves going on long walks exploring and having a sniff. She is a bit of an escape artist and can climb our 12 foot fencing so she would need to be kept on a lead at all times whilst out in the garden. Birdie has socialised well with other dogs in our care and is very playful so we feel following a successful meet and greet she could possibly be rehomed with another playful dog of similar size.As Birdie came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on her so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years.Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.

This absolute gentleman is Bowie! Bowie is looking for a quiet retirement home where he can have some nice walks and then chill on the sofa. He is quite an independent dog who will do his own thing and then come over when he wants fuss and strokes. At this stage in his life he just wants lots of love and a warm fire that he can relax in front of. Bowie has socialised well with other dogs whilst in our care but wasn’t too sure about the more playful and boisterous ones. We feel Bowie would be best rehomed as the only dog in the home where he can 100% of the cuddles and attention. Bowie would love a private secure garden that he can potter about in.We are unsure how Bowie would react around cats.As Bowie came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years.*Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge

This absolutely beautiful boy is Brindle!!He was a little nervous and unsure when he first came into us but it didn’t take him long to come around and show us his giddy and playful side. He will always meet you with the odd play bow or a zoomie or 2. He loves loves loves bum scratches (as you can see in the photos) and will stand there all day. Brindle is a very playful and energetic dog that does jump up when he gets excited. He does know his basic commands but would benefit from basic training to improve manners and focus. He would benefit from a private secure garden.Brindle has socialised with other dogs whilst in our care but can be a little nervous around them so we feel he would be best rehomed as the only dog in the home where the new adopter can continue his socialisation with other dogs to gain his confidence around them.As Brindle came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 16+ yearsWe are unsure how Brindle would react around cats.

Meet our gorgeous, daft boy, Bruce!Bruce is a very active and playful boy who absolutely loves chasing around our compound with his toys. He can be quite boisterous and bouncy when he is excited so would definitely benefit from continued training and socialisation. He can be quite a strong boy on his lead too.He will need an active home where he can get all the exercise and mental stimulation he will need every day. Bruce would benefit from a private secure garden where he can have off lead time with his toys in between his walks.Bruce has interacted well with other dogs whilst in our care but can be very dominant with them so we feel he would be best suited to be the only dog in the home. The new adopter will need to continue his socialisation with other dogs to improve his interactions with them.As Bruce came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years – subject to a successful meet.

Meet Beautiful Bruce! He is a typical Bulldog – strong-willed and stubborn with a personality as bold as his build. He has all the classic bulldog traits – determined, a little headstrong and full of character. One he sets his mind on something there’s no changing it. Despite his stubborn streak he has a playful and affectionate side. He absolutely loves his toys especially his football and will spend ages entertaining himself, whether its tugging or carrying them around proudly. Like most Bulldogs he thrives on routine. We are looking for an experienced adult only home for Bruce that have previous experience with strong-willed Bulldogs. Bruce will need a private secure garden.Bruce has been rehomed previously and it unfortunately didn’t work out so please only apply if you have the commitment and time to work with Bruce.When Bruce came into us he had a cherry eye which has now been successfully repaired.Bruce has socialised well with other dogs but as he is so toy obsessed we feel he would be best rehomed as the only dog in the home.Bruce will need an adult only home.

Cali was a very nervous girl when she first arrived at the home, she came in as a stray so we don’t know much about her history. It has taken a lot of time and patience for Cali to show us her excitable, bubbly personality. Due to this we are after an experienced home that has the time to get to know Cali here before she goes home. Once Cali gets to know you she loves a fuss and attention. She loves going out for woodland walks and gets very giddy for her lead, she pulls a little on the lead, due to her size, so would benefit from some on going training. Cali enjoys an offlead run in the enclosed compound where she can chase after a tennis ball.Cali will need to live in an Adult only home with an enclosed garden where she has space to roam about at her leisure. She can be a little nervous and unsure around certain dogs, we have been working with her on this and introducing her to dogs which is helping her social interactions. She will need continued training to help with her socialisation. Meet Casemiro! He is a big dog with an even bigger personality, he always wants to say hello to everyone he meets but does forget just how big and powerful he is when he runs over and jumps up for some fuss and attention. We are looking for a home for him where the potential adopter has previous experience with large boisterous dogs. He does know his basic commands but will definitely need ongoing training and socialisation. Casemiro enjoys his time chasing around our compound with his toys and going for long walks exploring, he is very strong on the lead so lead training will also have to be part of his daily training routine. Please only apply if you have the time, experience and commitment to work with this gorgeous boy. This timid girl is Clover. We are looking for an experienced owner for her that has worked with/socialised timid large breed dogs previously. Once Clover has bonded with you she shows off her loving side, it just takes some time for her to trust new people. Once she has got to know you she doesn’t leave your side. Clover is a very boisterous and bouncy girl who does forget just how big she is when she is jumping up at you to say hello. She would definitely benefit from puppy training classes. Her new adopter must give her all the support she will need whilst she gets used to new people and places and will have to commit to regular meet and greets before the adoption could take place.
