Meet Ripley!! He is a gorgeous boy looking for an active, committed home where he can continue to learn and thrive. He’s a friendly, affectionate boy with a fun-loving personality and is always ready for a game with his favourite toys. He is full of energy and loves to play, so he will need an active family who can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and ongoing training. Like many young dogs, he can become a little mouthy and nippy when he’s excited, so he will benefit from patient guidance and positive reinforcement to help him learn appropriate manners. He is still working on his basic commands and will need someone willing to continue his training. He can also occasionally rag his lead, so further lead training will be important. Previous experience with Shar-pei’s would be a real advantage, as they can have their own unique characteristics and training needs.
