He absolutely loves spending time in the free run pen where he can burn off some of that enthusiasm.He’s a treat-orientated boy, which will be a great advantage when it comes to training. That said, he doesn’t always pick things up straight away—bless him—so he’ll need a patient and understanding owner who is willing to put the time into helping him learn and develop at his own pace.Bruce hasn’t quite mastered the art of fetch yet. When you throw a ball, he tends to look a little puzzled as if wondering where it’s gone, which only adds to his charm .He has previously lived with two female dogs, although this could be a little challenging at times. We believe this may have been due to him being neutered later, with hormones likely playing a role in some pushy behaviour. He is now neutered.Bruce is a fun-loving, affectionate young dog who will thrive in an active home that can offer him plenty of exercise, structure, and continued training. She is still a little unsure around smaller breeds, which is understandable given her background as an ex-racing Greyhound. She has clearly been very well cared for before coming into our care and has been well socialised with other dogs.Greyhounds are often known as "45 mph couch potatoes." They enjoy stretching their legs with a good run but are equally happy curling up for a snooze afterwards. Crouton will enjoy two daily walks of around 20–30 minutes, along with opportunities to run safely in a secure, enclosed area.As with many former racing Greyhounds, Crouton has a natural prey drive and should always be kept on a lead unless in a fully secure enclosed space. For this reason, she is not suitable to live with cats or other small furry pets. We feel she would be happiest either as the only pet or with another medium or large, well-socialised dog.Like many ex-racers, life in a family home will be completely new to Crouton. Everyday household sights and sounds may take a little getting used to, so her new family will need to be patient while she learns that sofas, televisions, washing machines, and visitors are all part of normal home life. With kindness, consistency, and reassurance, we're sure she will settle in beautifully.Greyhounds have very fine coats, thin skin, and very little body fat, making them more sensitive to both cold and hard surfaces than many other breeds. Crouton will appreciate a warm coat during colder weather and a soft, comfortable bed where she can enjoy one of her favourite pastimes—a good nap!If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate, and entertaining companion with a heart of gold, Crouton could be the perfect addition to your family.

Darla will benefit from continued, positive socialisation with other dogs to help her build appropriate interactions and confidence.Darla will need a home that can provide her with regular exercise and ongoing training to help her continue developing into a well-rounded companion. She responds well to kindness and consistency, and with the right guidance, she will thrive.She cannot live with cats but could live with children aged 10 years and over who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs.Darla is a loving, gentle girl with so much to give, and she will make a wonderful companion for the right family.

He has been as good as gold in our care and has settled in wonderfully. Being moved around so much at such a young age can often affect a puppy's confidence and behaviour, so we're incredibly grateful that Momo has remained such a loving and gentle boy.He truly deserves a family who will give him the stability, love, and commitment he's been waiting for.Momo is a fun-loving, energetic young boy who is looking for an active home that can meet his exercise and enrichment needs. As a young dog, he thrives on plenty of physical activity alongside mental stimulation through training, puzzle toys, scent work, and interactive play to keep his clever mind occupied.We believe Momo may be a Miniature Schnauzer cross, and his coat will require regular grooming to keep it in good condition. He loves his food and treats, which will be a great help with ongoing training and building positive experiences.He is still learning about the world around him and does not show much interest in toys at the moment, preferring instead to focus on people, movement and food rewards.Monty does pull on the lead and will need ongoing training, patience and consistency from his new owners. He is still learning good manners and will benefit from structured walks and continued positive reinforcement training to help him develop into a well-balanced adult dog.He does have good recall in familiar environments, however we must stress that he should not be let off the lead immediately in a new home. Thankfully, with plenty of love, care, and rehabilitation, he made a fantastic recovery before coming into our care to begin his search for the loving home he truly deserves.Since arriving at the rescue, Mr Potato has been an absolute sweetheart. His playful antics have had us all in stitches, and his cheeky, fun-loving character shines through every single day. He is full of affection and enjoys nothing more than spending time with the people who care for him.Mr Potato can be a little wary of some men when he first meets them, which is understandable given his difficult start in life. However, he has never shown any signs of aggression. When he feels unsure, he simply chooses to back away rather than confront the situation. With a little patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats, he soon realises he's safe and quickly warms to people, revealing the affectionate, goofy boy we all know and love.Mr Potato has loved walking with the other dogs at the centre and is always keen to interact with them. He can get rather boisterous when he wants to play, so any introductions to resident dogs should be carried out carefully. Initially, Porsche found the change overwhelming and was very frightened, but with time, patience, and routine she has settled and is now a much happier dog.She will need an experienced dog owner who understands confident, strong breeds and can continue her training. Porsche is strong on the lead and can be reactive to other dogs, although she has shown that she can build positive relationships. She particularly enjoys walking with one of our male dogs, Spud, and does so calmly and happily.Porsche can be wary of unfamiliar people and may bark when she feels unsure, so introductions will need to be managed carefully and at her pace. Once she knows you, however, she is very affectionate and enjoys physical contact — she greets the staff enthusiastically and loves stretching up for attention when coming out of her kennel.True to her Boxer nature, Porsche enjoys play and time outdoors. She especially loves watching and chasing birds in the pen, with seagulls being a particular favourite. Boxers are intelligent, energetic, and people-focused dogs, and Porsche shows all of these traits. She will benefit from regular exercise, mental stimulation, and clear, consistent boundaries.In terms of care, Boxers have short coats that are easy to maintain with occasional brushing. They do best with structured routines and positive reinforcement training.
