Alfie

Alfie is a 4 year old entire collie cross. He originally came into our care after his owner was admitted into hospital. He then spent the last year in another home but they felt their environment was too busy for him due to having various visitors which Alfie found difficult and would often bark and lunge until he got to know them. Alfie is a very shy boy but if given time soon warms up to people. He requires a quiet adult home and an owner that is willing to give him the space and time he requires to gain confidence. Everything needs to be done gradually with Alfie so he doesn't feel threatened or get put into situations he find difficult. Alfie is housetrained, is good when left alone for a few hours, travels well, knows some basic commands and is ok around other dogs.
