Aloe

Aloe is a very sweet but nervous girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. Her past has not been kind to her, she was used for breeding until she was no longer needed, and sadly she has faced some very tough challenges. Aloe has lost her left back leg after an altercation, both of her eyes due to severe ulcers, and she also has an undershot jaw and has had dental work with 11 teeth removed. She is recovering bravely and, day by day, is learning to adapt.When Aloe first arrived, she found the world overwhelming and preferred to stay snuggled in her bed with her kennel friends for comfort.She had never lived in a home before moving to her foster home, but she is learning so well. In her foster home, she is slowly coming out of her shell. She feels safe in her bed, loves her food, and enjoys gentle games that encourage her to explore.
