He was found wandering the streets of a local town all alone, painfully thin, with a large wound on his neck and hundreds of grass seeds embedded all over his body. Despite everything he has endured, Andy has the sweetest nature. He is affectionate, gentle, incredibly loving, and sociable. He adores people, loves children, and gets on wonderfully with other dogs. We believe Andy either escaped from his hunter owner or, sadly, was abandoned and left to fend for himself—a fate that far too many Podencos face in Spain.Now safe at our partner shelter, Andy is ready to leave his difficult past behind and begin the happy life he truly deserves. He loves going for walks, is happy to wear a harness, and walks beautifully for such a young dog.
