Description
Young Arlo is sadly looking for a new home due to a drastic change in his owners circumstances.
He is very protective of his home and family. The volunteer couldn't interact with him inside of the home, as he doesn't like strangers coming in.
He is said to be good with children but we feel due to his protectiveness we will only consider older large dog savvy children.
He is a definite NO to cats and he is fine with certain dogs
Arlo has a dreadful recall so this is something that will need some work. He is lacking in basic socialisation so again work will be needed. He does have basic commands and is good in the home for his family. He asks to be let out by going to the door.
He is NOT good at the vets so again work will be needed to make it less stressful for him.
When the owners go away he goes into kennels where he is said to be good natured and friendly albeit a little anxious. This is a great positive for the right adopter.
