Berta and her sister were dumped on the roadside as puppies. A kind man found them and decided to foster them until their forever homes could be found. The girls grew into beautiful large dogs, believed to be Kangal crosses. One of them has already found her home, leaving Berta still in foster care. Berta is a very loyal girl. As her nature suggests, she is a working breed and will guard her territory. She loves her big foster brother and very much enjoys pushing his buttons. They can play all day and enjoy rough play together. Berta is now a strong and independent young woman and, as such, has selective hearing. She has escaped from the garden on occasion, so she will need a very secure garden with fencing of at least two metres. Berta has not been kind to the neighbours’ chickens, so she must not be homed with small animals. She loves people and greatly enjoys walks with her foster parents and her foster brother.
