Billy

Meet Billy – a sweet, energetic young dog with a heart full of love and a bucketful of potential.Billy originally came to us with his siblings from another rescue and was rehomed to a kind family. Sadly, they could no longer keep him, though they described him as playful, affectionate, and full of energy – sometimes perhaps a little too much, especially around other dogs.Back with us, Billy has been a fun and loving personality. He’s still learning how to interact appropriately, as he missed out on some early socialisation guidance. His play can be mouthy and over-the-top, but he’s making great progress with training and is eager to learn. He’ll need owners who are prepared to continue that work and understand he’s a bit of a project – but a very rewarding one.We believe Billy is a Lurcher x Belgian Shepherd, so he’ll need plenty of mental and physical stimulation. He can be unsure in new situations, such as stairs or busy traffic, but with time and patience, he’s learning to be brave....
