Quiet, loving, trusting and she has a calm nature.Canela was rescued in the town of Iznájar after spending weeks wandering the streets in search of food and shelter. Although she had a microchip, it was registered to someone who had passed away. Sadly, after their death, the family no longer wanted her and simply turned her out onto the streets.Despite everything she had endured, Canela never lost her faith in people. Hungry and frightened, she gently allowed herself to be approached and calmly accepted a lead, as if she knew she was finally safe.Since arriving at the shelter, Canela has shown everyone what a special dog she is. She is affectionate without being demanding and loves spending time with people. She happily shares her kennel with other dogs and enjoys her twice-weekly walks with our volunteers. She walks beautifully on a harness and lead, is confident around traffic, everyday noises, and strangers, and settles well wherever she goes.Canela keeps her kennel spotlessly clean...
