Charles

Charles is 2yrs old he came into our care from Romania where he was rescued from a high kill shelter.Although he has been in our care for 4 months we still haven't been able to build his confidence enough for him to allow us to touch him. He will happily approach us and take treats but is still worried by close contact. He loves spending time outdoors and will happily approach visitors that pass by and will take food from them but again backs away from any contact.He is wary around other dogs but has spent time with those that are calm and gentle around him.Charles is very much a project dog so will require a special type of person who can allow him all the time he requires to gain trust in people. He would be better suited to a quiet home environment where he can have access to a secure outdoor area.He is crate trained and if he was lucky enough to find a home he would need to travel home in a crate (provided) so he can be lifted in/out of a vehicle without getting too stressed, this ...
