Chico

Chico is a 10 year old Jack Russell Terrier cross. Hasn’t been cat tested. Can live with or without other dogs. Adult only home. He was adopted from Safe Rescue around 4 years ago but has been recently returned to the charity through unforeseen reasons. We were told by his adopters that he was nervous around new people but he settled with his fosterers on the day they brought him home, climbing on to their laps for cuddles and strokes. He loves humans and human attention and enjoys cuddling up to his foster parents and giving them kisses. When he first moved in to his foster home, he was a bit reactive to his canine foster siblings. This didn’t last long, no more than a couple of days and he is now happy to both snuggle and play with them. His fosterers are putting the initial reactivity down to a lack of socialisation in his previous home. He has met other dogs on walks and has been nothing but lovely to them.
