Are you right for Chief?Meet Chief – a strikingly handsome lurcher on the lookout for his forever home. Life in the kennels has been a bit daunting for him, but he's slowly gaining confidence and forming bonds with his favourite carers. Chief’s happiest moments include zooming around the play run and enjoying some well-earned neck scratches!He’s previously lived in a home where he was mostly housetrained and content being left alone for a few hours. That said, we recommend gradually building up to this in his new environment, so he feels comfortable and secure.Due to his sensitive and sometimes nervous nature, Chief would do best in a calm home with children aged 16 and over—people who understand that he may need a little space and time to settle in. A secure, private garden is a must so he can safely enjoy some outdoor fun and exploration.Chief is currently learning to wear a muzzle for vet visits, which he finds a bit worrying, but he's really enjoying the treat-filled training sessi...
