Chokky is an absolutely gorgeous, gentle and affectionate dog. Despite arriving in foster traumatised, anxious and cowering, unable even to be looked at, he has transformed into a bouncy, happy and healthy little spaniel. He witnessed violence in his previous home, so shouting can still frighten him, but since coming into foster he has tried so hard to be brave and has made incredible progress. It has been our privilege to look after him, and a joy to watch him grab life and discover that it can be fun.
