Are you right for Dec?Dec is a handsome 3 year old Greyhound looking for a family to show him the home comforts now he has retired from racing. He would like to be the only pet in the home but could have some doggy friends to socialise with on walks. Due to his high prey drive, he would not be suitable to live with cats or small furries. Dec is a friendly boy who could join a home with children of Primary School Age who are comfortable around larger dogs that can be excitable. Dec has likely never been in a home so may need support with settling into his new home routine and having leaving hours built up. As an ex-racer, he will need to be walked on lead and muzzled when outside of the home so would benefit from a secure garden so he has somewhere for zoomies! Dec has a medical condition which is well managed with pain relief which will need to continue long term, we can discuss this with you if you are found to be a match.
