Dexter and his siblings, known as the “drown pups” were found abandoned in a ditch, fighting to survive on their own. We took them in, kept them safe, and now this adorable little boy is finally old enough to travel and begin his new life. Dexter is a typical pup, incredibly friendly, happy, and bursting with playful energy. He loves being fussed over and will soak up every bit of attention you offer. Curious, cheeky, and full of fun, he’s the kind of pup who makes every day brighter just by being himself. When meeting our child volunteer, Dexter was calm, gentle, and wonderfully sweet, showing just how perfect he could be for a family home. He hasn’t met cats yet, but this can be arranged upon request. Dexter gets along brilliantly with other dogs and would happily share his home with them following slow introductions.
