Dylan

Dylan is 4 years old. He is a Black and White short coated Border Collie Cross. He came to us as an unclaimed stray from Ireland. Dylan spent 5 weeks in a home but was returned as he snapped at the female adopter on several occasions. The incidents happened when he was being fussed and mostly after he’d been for a walk. Dylan had no incidents with the male adopter in the home and has been fine being handled by staff since he’s been back in our care.Dylan is an anxious boy, he suppresses his emotions here in kennels but we know from his short home history that he has a lot of love to give. Dylan loved travelling in the car and going on adventures, although he displayed concerns around fast moving traffic and noisier vehicles when on walks. He is happy to see other dogs out and about and didn’t display any reactivity.Dylan would likely benefit from a single male adopter, but this isn’t essential.
