Are you right for Fawn?Fabulous Fawn is a 3 year old Boerboel who is ready to find his furever home. He is a big boy full of love and could join a adult only home, who are confident around large dogs. Fawn struggles to deal with his emotions and has the potential to become mouthy/frustrated when over aroused, the behaviour team will give tips to help support this in his future home. Fawn has mixed with dogs at the centre but is a little underconfident around them and has been worried, seeking reassurance from his handler so would be best suited as the only dog in the home and would benefit from socialising with some calm canine friends to help build his confidence. Once settled, he should be fine to be left for short periods of time. Fawn was used to spending a lot of time outside in a previous home so would benefit from a secure garden of his own so he has the choice if he would like to chill outside.
