Gertie

Gertie is a German Shepherd born approx October 2016. She has come to us because her owner has sadly passed away. She did spend some time in a boarding kennel whilst her owners family sorted out what to do with her. Gertie came to us enormously overweight. She is now on a weight loss diet and has already made some progress. You can see from her photos that she still has a way to go but she will get there. When she does she will probably have more energy. Gertie is an absolutely beautiful girl with a lovely nature and a heart of gold. She is very friendly and loves everyone she meets. Gertie knows all her basic manners and sits nicely. She is initially excited when going for a walk so dances around a little, but she soon settles down. She will be better with a harness. Gertie likes to be outside and enjoys running around. She isn’t really interested in ball games.
