Areca is looking for a special home with bully experience. She is a lovely dog with humans, loves her food and enjoys a good cuddle but finds it difficult to get along with other dogs straight away. She has been known to forge relationships with a few selected dogs but only after slow and careful introductions. Because of this she is looking for an experienced home and could potentially live with children ages 13 or over but never with cats.

Hi, I’m Barney! I’m a 4-month-old Border Collie cross puppy looking for my forever home through no fault of my own. Everyone says I’m a very sweet boy, and now I’m hoping to find a family who can help me grow into the best companion I can be.As I’m still very young, I have lots to learn about the world around me. I’ll need a patient and understanding home that recognises I’m still a baby and will need support with housetraining, basic manners, and learning all the things that good dogs need to know. Positive reward-based training will help me build my confidence and understand what’s expected of me. With time, consistency, and plenty of encouragement, I promise I’ll figure it all out!I love to play, explore, and have the occasional zoomie, so I’ll need a secure garden with 6ft fencing where I can safely burn off some puppy energy and enjoy myself.I could live with children aged 11 and over who understand that I’m still learning and will need my own space, boundaries, and time to rest when I’ve had enough excitement.I may be able to live with another friendly dog and possibly even a cat, provided we’re introduced properly and get along well.Because I’m still a puppy, I’d like any time spent alone to be introduced very gradually. I’ll need help learning that being by myself is safe and nothing to worry about, so my new family should be prepared to build this up slowly and at my pace.If you’re looking for a loving, clever, and affectionate young pup to welcome into your family, I could be the perfect match. All I need is a little patience, guidance, and lots of love—and I’ll reward you with a lifetime of friendship.Love,Barney Key info: Large breed, Cat friendly, Children 11+, Dog friendly - on walks, Needs to be housetrained, Dog friendly - in the home, Needs to build leaving hours

Basil, a 4 years old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel available for adoption from Save Our Spaniels in Lincolnshire

Basil

Lincolnshire
SexMale
Age4 years
BreedCavalier King Charles Spaniel

BASIL the springer spaniel came over from Spain back in November 2024 and it became apparent, he had an issue with one of his hips. Hip dysplasia was diagnosed and a FHO (femoral head ostectomy) was carried out to ease his issue whilst in foster. Completely successful and then he was adopted in April 2025. Sadly BASIL has been returned to us a year later. Although not a problem with the husband, the wife adopter had issues with him pulling on a lead and reacting to other dogs. BASIL is in foster near Grantham, Lincolnshire and living with dogs and cats (no issues with either). He is a very cuddly boy, jumps straight in the car and travels well. Sleeps in the kitchen at night with the other fosters and is fully housetrained. Not particularly prey driven and loves to be in the garden watching the world go by. He is a calm 4 year old and loves his rural walks. He would be looking for a quieter home with someone who enjoys their walks in the woods or fields. He would so love his own sofa again with someone to love him for the rest of his days. BASIL is microchipped, vaccinated, castrated and had recent parasite treatments.

Bella, a 3 years old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier available for adoption from Ark Animal Rescue in Lincolnshire

Bella

SexFemale
Age3 years
BreedStaffordshire Bull Terrier

I am a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier X Dogue de Bordeaux, am 3 years old and am a large tan dog.I’ve not been spayed and my last season was on 01/05/26. I’m up to date with my vaccinations, am fit and well and was vet checked, wormed and flea-treated just prior to my admission. I eat complete dry food x 2 daily and will eat anything. I’m looking for a new home because my owner’s medical condition means she’s unable to exercise me or look after me properly.I’m a very loving dog and playful but nervous at first meeting. I’ve lived with children from 1-11 years and am good with all ages. I lived peacefully with another dog and am unknown around cats. I don’t get on with other dogs I don’t know so need time to get used to them and I’m wary of men.I’ve never shown any aggression to people and have no food aggression. I’m good in boarding kennels and at the vets, have never been to the groomer but am fine to be bathed/groomed at home. I’m house-trained and can be left up to 3 hours, slept on the floor in my bed and travel well in the car. I’m very strong on the lead, have never been off it so my recall is untested. So far I’ve only been walked by the female dog walkers but will hopefully be introduced to the males soon. I enjoy playing with toys. I’m an established family pet so could live with children after careful introductions, maybe live with another dog, again after good introductions but would be better not living with cats. I need a family with time and energy to give me the attention and exercise I need and somebody strong enough to manage me.
