Sadly, after three days it became clear that she is not comfortable living with a very small, older resident dog.She appears unsure around the other dog and so defensive and is noticeably more relaxed when they are separated. The family have tried to manage the situation, but it has become difficult and stressful for both dogs and people.They are now struggling to keep the dogs apart all the time, while also separating the humans so that someone can be with each dog, and they are asking for a new foster or foster-to-adopt home for Gita as soon as possible.It is also important to say that Gita has only been in the UK a matter of days.
