NOT ONE APPLICATION FORM FOR ISLAIsla came to us from a London pound after she wasn’t claimed, although her original owners have since contacted us and said they had rehomed her in good faith a few months before as she became too strong for them.Isla is a big girl and she will definitely need a strong handler when she is on the lead, although she is walked by a female only foster home at the moment with no issues.She will need to be dog-free in line with her foster home. She has been largely fine with other dogs, but has been vocal on her walks to some. We wouldn’t rule out a home with a large breed neutered male, especially as she has lived with dogs before, but it would obviously be important to meet up at least a couple of times to ensure there are no initial bad reactions.In view of her size, she can go with dog savvy children of 12+.She will need a cat-free home as she is untested.Thanks to her foster mum, she has now had a good groom and her coat is gleaming, which I am sure is m...
