Jet is a 19 month old neutered collie. She was in a home for 7 months but has been returned as she unexpectedly rushed at the owner's 3yr old grandchild, knocking her over and causing a puncture wound to her arm. Jet is a shy girl and will require an owner that understands her fears and won't put her in situations she may struggle with. She is very unsure around strangers and gets worried by visitors to the home so requires a quiet environment without children.Jet is housetrained, responds well to commands and travels well. She is only used to being left alone for odd hours so this will need to be built up gradually. She tends to mostly ignore other dogs out on a walk but if she feels threatened she does sometimes bark. Following x-rays Jet was recently diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia.
