Jet

Jet is a 2 year old neutered collie. She originally came into our care via another rescue after she was found living in a horse trailer. She than spent 6mths in a home but was returned as her owners felt their home and life style wasn't right for her needs.She is housetrained, is good when left alone for a few hours, travels very well and knows several commands. She does lunge at large vehicles when out walking but is ok with passing cars. Having spent her early years locked away Jet missed out on being socialised and can be worried by people that suddenly reach out towards her and when she has felt threatened she has on rare occasions snapped so requires an owner that understand her fear and is willing to work with her and avoid situations that she struggles with. She is ok around calm non reactive dogs but if dogs pester her she again can become worried and may react.Jet requires a quiet home without young children, frequent different visitors and cats.
