. He was rushed to the vets where he needed life saving surgery. They hoped they could save his eyesight but that was sadly not the case and as such Jimbo has had to have both of his eyes removed.Despite this fact, he is a remarkably happy and contented chap who has adapted incredibly well. Podencos always amaze us at their resilience and adaptability and Jimbo is a shining example of that. It doesn’t phase him and he copes really well. He is currently in kennels and despite doing really well, given everything he has been through we are really keen to find him a home ASAP. He is good with other dogs but also really enjoys the company of people so could live either as an only dog or with other dogs. He has not been cat tested but we could arrange it. Jimbo could live with older and very respectful children who can understand that he cannot see and act accordingly. He walks brilliantly on the lead and does a great job of finding his way around.
