Obi (short for Obsidian ) is from Morocco with a story that stays with you. This sweet boy took his chance at a better life when he approached his now-rescuer on a beach while she was on holiday. Despite being weak, malnourished and having a terrible skin condition that was left untreated, Obi knew this was his moment – and he refused to let it pass. He followed her persistently, as if asking for help in the only way he knew how.That brave decision changed his life.After spending time in a Moroccan rescue, JFD were asked to take Obi into our care, and we were delighted to say yes. From that moment on, Obi has shown just how special he is – travelling like an absolute diamond and proving himself to be a character.Obi has the most endearing, funny personality.
