MEET LUTHER — YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND? 17-month-old Labrador Cross | Looking for his forever home Luther’s story didn’t start the way any young dog’s should. Five months ago, Luther was found 4.5 kg underweight, seriously emaciated, and covered in cuts and scrapes. It was heartbreaking. We believe this young boy spent much of his early life confined to a cage before being dumped, left to fend for himself. But look at him now! ️ With time, patience and care, Luther has made wonderful progress. Initially, he was terrified of other dogs, but slowly he learned that they could be friends. Eventually, he shared a pen with a German Shepherd, and the two became the very best of friends. That’s the beautiful thing about dogs like Luther. Give them a chance, and they can learn to trust again. SO, WHAT’S LUTHER LIKE? He LOVES a large ball and will happily run around chasing it.
