Update On LeiaLeia arrived in the UK in June 2025 and came straight into foster care, where she quickly stole hearts. She was adopted in November and we truly believed she had found her forever. Sadly, her adopter has been involved in a serious accident, broken his bones, and was admitted to hospital. He was no longer physically able to care for her. With friends and neighbours stepping in to help, the adopter made the difficult and selfless decision to return Leia so she could have the full life she deserves.Leia has done nothing wrong. She is now back in foster and once again looking for the stable, loving home she has been waiting for. Meet LeiaLeia is now around 5 years old, an upper-medium German Shepherd cross with a big presence and an even bigger heart. She is deeply people-focused, affectionate, and thrives on companionship.
