Are you right for Mari?Mari is a 4-year-old dog with a gentle nature and a medium energy level. She can be worried when meeting new people—especially men—and prefers to approach in her own time rather than being fussed straight away. Mari is confident and friendly with other dogs and has previously lived happily with both cats and dogs. She can live with cats, dogs, and older, dog-savvy children aged 14+ who will understand her need for space and won’t overwhelm her. Mari will need a secure garden as she can feel anxious in new environments, and she must be kept on lead in public at all times due to her nervousness. She is housetrained but cannot be left initially—her foster carers have started building this up in 30-minute intervals, and her adopters will need to continue this gradual training.
