Mars is looking for a new home due to a change in his owner’s circumstances.Mars can be an anxious boy at times and we feel that he will be best suited to a confident adult only family, so that he can relax and gain his confidence.Out on walks, Mars is friendly with other dogs and enjoys a chase around with his regular buddies. His recall isn’t great if he spots another dog to play with but he can go off the lead in appropriate areas and with consistent reward based training and practice, his recall is bound to improve.He does pull on the lead initially and then settles down once he’s in his stride, enjoying all the sniffs and peemails. Whilst Mars may want to interact with other dogs on walks, but he isn’t interested in going over to other humans, and he doesn’t chase wildlife or runners or bicycles. Loud noises, such as bangs, busy playgrounds, cafes etc can make Mars anxious and then he just wants to go home. Taking Mars to quiet places until he builds trust in you and confidence in...
