Meet Medeni, born c.2022, c12kg and currently living in a private shelter in Serbia. Medeni has a story that could have broken his spirit, but instead, it has made him shine even brighter. Medeni was found on the streets after being hit by a car, and thanks to a kind rescuer, he got the care he desperately needed. Whilst he’s now fully recovered from the resulting paw injury, X-rays revealed something far more heartbreaking: Medeni carries multiple embedded pellets in his head and neck area, evidence of past cruelties. Sadly, this has left him blind in one eye, but the pellets do not appear to be causing any other detrimental effects. Despite everything he’s endured, Medeni is an affectionate, trusting boy who adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Medeni (also sometimes called 'Medenko') has a balanced energy level.
