Mia

Today we’re sharing the lovely Mia, who is currently in the care of another rescue, to help find the breed-experienced home she so deserves. Mia is approximately 5 years old and is spayed. Mia has now spent over 525 days waiting for her forever family, and we’d love to see that wait finally come to an end. Mia came into rescue after concerns were raised for her welfare, and it quickly became clear that she’d missed out on many of life’s simple pleasures. She didn’t know how to play with toys, had very little experience around other dogs, and had lots to learn about life in a loving home. Since then, she has made incredible progress. With the support of her carers, Mia has learned to walk much more nicely on the lead and knows several commands including sit, paw, spin, and down. She’s an intelligent girl who loves food, making training both fun and rewarding. Enrichment feeders are one of her favourite ways to keep her busy.
