Misty Aka Mop! Maltese X Shih Tzu

When Misty first arrived, she was extremely nervous and found kennel life overwhelming. She has made lovely progress with our team, but she will need a very understanding and patient foster carer to continue helping her build confidence.If you’re looking for a dog to cuddle straight away and take on easy, relaxed walks, Misty is not the dog for you — at least not yet.Misty must live with at least one resident dog who is 100% friendly, confident, and good with both people and other dogs. She would be best suited to living with male dogs, as we feel this would give her the most stability and confidence. She takes great comfort from other dogs and relies on them for reassurance. A calm, steady “pack” will help show her that the world — and humans — aren’t so scary after all.With our staff, Misty has come a long way.
