Misty

Misty is a gorgeous 2-year-old Staffy cross who has had a bit of a rough start in life. Her previous owner was evicted and, heartbreakingly, could no longer take her with him. When Misty arrived, she was seriously overweight — let’s just say she had embraced the Staffy philosophy of “why have one dinner when you could have two?” Thankfully, she’s now doing brilliantly on her diet and is steadily getting herself back into shape. And Misty absolutely loves to run! Once those little legs get going, she’s a very happy girl. She also adores people and thinks fuss, cuddles and attention are essential human responsibilities. Misty is a strong girl on the lead and will need someone prepared to continue her training. She also needs to learn that other dogs can be friends rather than something she needs to get involved with immediately. For this reason, Misty must be the only dog in the home and the only pet.
