Meet the Marvelous Myrtle!We have a very special new arrival to introduce to you all. Meet Myrtle, a sweet and gentle soul who began her journey to a new life on Sunday . Myrtle’s story is a bit of a mystery. She was surrendered by a previous owner who had rescued her from a difficult situation, but sadly, they could no longer care for her after welcoming a new baby. We were told she was three years old, deaf, and blind—but after a trip to the vet this morning, we have some updatesThe Truth About Myrtle – She is indeed deaf, but we are thrilled to share that she is NOT blind! Our vet estimates she is actually around 5–6 years old. It’s clear she’s had a tough road; she has had puppies in the past and has likely never seen a vet before now. She arrived unchipped, unvaccinated, and not spayed.Despite everything, she is a “sweet, gentle girl” who is settling in beautifully.
