Ophelia

Ophelia originally came to us from very sad circumstances, alongside several other dogs, when their elderly owner became overwhelmed and the home had fallen into heartbreaking conditions. Though she had never been intentionally mistreated, Ophelia had gone without proper care for a long time. She arrived underweight, missing patches of fur, and unsure of the world beyond her kennel.At first, Ophelia was shy and sensitive, leaning on her kennel friends for reassurance and waiting for them to take the lead before stepping forward herself. But with patience, gentle encouragement, and plenty of cuddles, she has slowly begun to blossom.Ophelia now walks beautifully on the lead, adores fuss and cuddles, and her sweet, calm nature makes her a joy to be around.
