Oxy arrived in the UK just a few days ago (Friday 6 March). She travelled a long way and stepped into a completely new world. Sadly, after three full days in her foster-to-adopt home, the family realised that the situation was simply too overwhelming for their circumstances.One of the challenges is that their garden isn’t secure enough for a dog like Oxy. Some walls are only around 4 feet high, and Oxy is agile and capable of jumping. Because of this, the family cannot safely let her out freely and must take her outside only on the lead, including during the night. Managing this constantly has become exhausting for them.Oxy never had the chance to properly decompress and settle after the huge change in her life. Now we urgently need a kind, patient foster who can give her the calm start she deserves — someone who can become the bridge between home and homelessness, allowing her to settle at her own pace and gain confidence in this new world.Oxy has no defensive or aggressive traits.
