Ozzy

Ozzy is a young black male terrier who was terrified when he first came in to us. He is a complex character and therefore needs an understanding home with a patient owner as he is showing great promise and progress and we are keen for this to continue. He needs to be with someone who is very active and who will help with him with his anxiety.He is initially standoffish when meeting new people but once he bonds to his human, he’s very affectionate. He is a little whirlwind with lots of energy and he is very good with other dogs although he can be a little over enthusiastic and boisterous. He is currently living with four other dogs in his foster home and this is going well, although he will growl when they try to pinch his food! Applicants should also note that his housetraining is a work in progress and will need more training.Ozzy will also need someone home a lot of the time to help him build trust and learn that he is ok to be left. Ozzy wouldn’t suit anyone who works away from home...
