Are you right for Patrick?Patrick is an endearing, eight-year-old Border Collie, with a gentle nature. This sweet chap is lacking in a little confidence, so he’s hopeful to find a home with calm and patient adopters, who could allow him to adjust to his new surroundings and build confidence at his own pace. Having entered our care as a stray, we have limited information on his background, but our training team have been getting to know him to learn what would make for his ideal home. Due to his nervous side and slight noise sensitivity, calmer, older secondary-school aged children who know when to give him some space would be better suited for Patrick. When it comes to meeting other dogs, Patrick seems to lack in confidence at times but warms up if introduced calmly and may initiate play. He will need to be the only pet at home but could have well-suited walking buddies.
