Description
Peggy was rehomed by us earlier this year but has sadly been returned. She wasn’t getting along with the existing dog in the home. Originally arriving from the pound system, we have no background history for her.
Within the kennel environment, Peggy is a very shy and timid girl and is struggling here. She is happy to go for walks but will refuse to move when returning in the direction of the kennels. Prior to originally coming to Foal, Peggy’s overall condition was poor and it is possible that she had never experienced living within a home environment. In the home she was described as being the perfect companion, she is very affectionate and once bonded with a person is a very loyal dog.
On walks Peggy is social with other dogs however, struggles to share the home with them. There are certain triggers such as a dog barking that she struggles to cope with.
Due to her nervous nature, we are seeking a home with no children. Peggy deserves to be the center of attention and given a chanc...
