Smelly and covered in fleas Penelope had obviously come from an unloved place. We believed whoever had her before coming to Last Chance had tried to use her as a guard dog/ status dog due to her breed however upon spending time with Penelope it’s clear to see she would of been useless at this as she is a happy friendly girl who loves everyone she meets which could of resulting in her being thrown out like rubbish.Penelope has had little to no socialisation and training. She has absolutely no manners and thinks the words no, wait, stay mean yes let’s go play! Penelope loves being around people and will get frustrated when she knows you are about to leave her however a few games of fetch has her calmed down.
