Poppy

Poppy is a gentle, affectionate girl who is still finding her feet after a big change in her life. She appears a little unsure of the home environment and will benefit from a calm, patient household where introductions to everyday routines are taken slowly. She has remained clean in her kennel and appears to be housetrained, but she will need a secure garden to support house training and to enjoy safe off-lead time. Poppy can find being left worrying at first, so any time alone will need to be built up gradually to help her feel secure and confident. She is friendly with people and enjoys company, often greeting strangers politely and settling at their feet. Poppy is affectionate but not yet fully comfortable with lots of fuss, sometimes showing appeasing behaviours, so adopters should be happy to let her set the pace.
