Rex

Rex is a fun, characterful boy who is looking for a calm home where he can be the only dog and won’t have visiting dogs. He was found as a stray but has settled brilliantly into a home environment and has been fully housetrained in foster care. Rex enjoys his routine and will need his new family to slowly build up any time left alone, but once settled he’s happy to relax and chill out. Rex is friendly and social with people and loves meeting new faces. He enjoys a good fuss and attention but is also quite content entertaining himself or relaxing nearby. He’s generally easy to handle, is happy being harnessed and copes well at the vets. He can be a little unsure about his feet and legs being touched and isn’t a fan of being picked up, but he responds well to kind, patient handling and lots of reassurance. Out and about, Rex will need a bit of management, as he can be reactive to other dogs and wildlife. He’ll do best with walks in quieter areas where he can feel more relaxed, and he’ll ...
