Description
Roman is a gentle, sensitive boy who came to us as a very frightened stray and is now ready for a calm, understanding home. He needs a quiet household with a secure garden and must be rehomed with a friendly, neutered dog, as he is far more confident when he has a canine companion to guide him. Once settled, Roman is affectionate on his own terms—leaning in for fuss, giving kisses, and happily falling asleep to his fosterer’s singing. He now copes well with everyday household noises but can still be startled by loud or unexpected sounds and will seek out his safe space, usually the kitchen. Roman can be wary of new people, particularly men, and will need slow, structured introductions with plenty of space to retreat. He tends to ignore strangers on walks but becomes frightened if approached, so visitors must remain hands off and allow him to go at his own pace.
