ROXY — SHE SURVIVED BEING ABANDONED. NOW SHE NEEDS SOMEONE TO CHOOSE HER. Look into Roxy’s eyes. There is such gentleness there. But behind those beautiful eyes is a story we wish she had never had to live. Roxy is approximately 3½ years old, and we believe she was most likely once used as a hunting dog. And then, when she was no longer wanted or useful to someone, she was simply left behind to survive. No home. No safety. No one looking for her. No understanding of where her next meal or drink would come from. For quite some time, Roxy wandered the streets of Cyprus village alone. After surviving for who knows how long by herself, she was finally caught safely and brought to the pound. And this is the part that breaks our hearts… After everything humans have already allowed to happen to her, Roxy still loves people. ️ She is incredibly sweet, gentle and affectionate. She is friendly with everyone she meets and gets along wonderfully with the other dogs at the shelter. There is no ha...
