Are you right for Ruby?Ruby is a beautiful 4-year-old girl who is slowly learning that the world can be a safe place again. She is worried and conflicted when meeting new people and needs patient, understanding adopters who are happy to take things at her pace. A hands-off approach, multiple meet-and-greets, and allowing Ruby her own space are essential while she builds trust. She is very wary initially and can take time to form bonds, but with consistency and kindness she is beginning to show her gentle side in her foster home. Ruby is not keen on walks and finds the outside world overwhelming, preferring instead to relax indoors and watch the world go by from a window. She will need to be kept on lead in public and muzzled for vet visits; our training team will be on hand to offer ongoing guidance and support.
