Ruby

Ruby is one of our larger than average girls with an incredibly smart brain. Like Spartan, she is another one of our escape artists in the kennel. She loves nothing more than trying to figure out how to open locks, latches, bolts etc to take herself out for a midday wander when nobody is looking! Ruby is a good walker on the lead, a big foodie, and an affectionate girl. She would ideally need to be homed in an adult only household unless older children are dog savvy and will be able to understand that front and rear entrance doors will need to be kept locked at all times*. Ruby could live with a greyhound boy but can sometimes be fussy over who she likes. She will still need on-going socialisation with other breed of dog and is unable to live with cats. *Due to Ruby’s escape artist tendencies any potential adopter may be subject to a physical home visit as well as our virtual home visit and other pre-adoption checks.
