Well – Zebedee is the first thing that comes to mind!Quite a petite boy, but a beautiful blue with a gorgeous face. He looked keen on the track, but was equally bouncy in the car park. Spent the whole walk bouncing at the end of the lead!I would imagine an experienced home needed, and maybe a higher energy one!

Abbi is 4yrs old. She is very nervous until she knows you but does come round with patience and kindness. She would prefer to be the only dog at home, but does walk happily with other dogs, which would give her confidence. She will need a patient and understanding home, without young children as they may be too much for her. She is clean in her kennel and will be really loyal once she trusts you. Adorable Ajay is the sweetest boy. He’s an ex racing greyhound which means he has not been in a home, therefore, may not be house trained but don’t let that put you off. Ajay is a very snuggly, affectionate boy. He walks like a dream on the lead. He loves a good blast around a field (a secure one!). He can be homed with children over the age of 10 years old and seems fine with other dogs but can’t be homed with small furries. Ajay loves a soft toy to play with and snuggling up in a cozy bed. Unfortunately, black greyhounds get overlooked for some reason! But whoever is lucky enough to give this sweet boy a home, will have a loyal and loving friend for life!

Alice is a character, is full of personality and doesn't want to miss a thing. She especially loves toys and to pinch them off other greyhounds if possible!Alice is a very affectionate girl with all our volunteers and also loves to spend time with the other greyhounds. She has already spent some time in our enrichment (home from home) room which she fully inspected, enjoyed playing with toys, but was quite curious about the T.V. on the wall.For Alice we’re looking for a home with someone who has experience of larger dogs, but not necessarily greyhounds. We feel Alice would be happy to live as an only hound or could equally happily live with another male hound. She would benefit from the company of an adopter who is at home a large amount of time, and this is especially important during the initial settling in phase. Meet gorgeous Aloy (emphasis on the A, not like ‘alloy’…she’s not a wheel!), she’s an absolute sweetie-pie melting hearts on the block! Aloy is gentle, friendly and fun…sometimes surprises us with a zoomie, but prefers to stay calm and collected most of the time! And she loves a cuddle or twelve! She’s fine being left alone in the house for short periods, to be built up gradually in a new home. She gets on well with the other super-snoots here although isn’t a huge fan of small, titchy dogs, they just don’t measure up! And don’t look too long into her beautiful dark eyes if you’re not serious about taking her home…she’ll melt you!

Here’s Amos, a super friendly, super waggy handsome fella looking for just 3 things in life…fuss, fuss & FUSS! Oh, and if you can throw in a sofa too, he’ll be so chuffed! He loves attention and will happily take fuss all day long. Amos is a playful, happy chap who loves his squeaky toys. He’s not allowed squeaky toys here as it drives all the other long dogs bonkers in their kennels, so we’re desperate to get him homed so he can enjoy them again! If he gets a little too excited he can forget his manners and be a little mouthy, this should improve with a little training and settling into a routine but we’d recommend homing him with adults and older children. Amos gets on great with the other noodles on the block and loves a good runaround. He’s not so keen on smaller dogs and will need further socialisation here. He could live as an only dog with an experienced owner, or as part of a household with other similar dogs. Yes, he needs a bit of work and some training in a few areas (who doesn’t?!), but most of all, this fun, happy boy just needs a chance. He really is a smasher Could you be the person that brings squeaky toys back into Amos’s life? He’ll love you forever!
