Meet Sandy - Reserved at First, Playful at Heart Sandy is initially a little reserved, but once she’s settled she becomes playful, sweet, and engaging. She enjoys attention and interaction, especially once she trusts her environment. She can become a bit excitable, so supervision and calm handling will help her succeed in a family home. Pending successful introductions she has the potential to live with children. Please bear in mind that she is socially selective so may be fine with some children but not with others. She travelled well on a recent trip to the country park — a great sign for future adventures. Sandy was strong on the lead in the busy, stimulating environment with lots of dogs around. In familiar, quieter settings (like her kennel walks), her lead manners are much better, showing she can walk nicely once she’s comfortable and not overwhelmed.
